- How did you get started in photography?
I started taking photos around 2004, when my mom found a simple film camera in a box with some film in it on the street around. Later I found our old camera; a Zenit ET and began taking photography more seriously. I paid more attention to the technical aspects and the composition of the photos instead of just taking photos of my drunk friends.
- What drives your motivation?
If you are asking about motivation with regards to photography as a job: money and I can’t work in the same office (I’m too old for that now). If you are asking in regards to photography as my hobby: I always create something. It’s not just a photo. I love the process of working with film and developing it. Also, I love catching the perfect moment. It’s as if I was involved in that moment without actually being there.
- Who is your biggest inspiration?
Buddha. But in all seriousness, different people inspire me in different times.
- What is your biggest goal as a photographer?
Hmm…. I think, to make people feel happy when they look at my photos. My creations.
- What is your favorite gear?
I don’t really have a specific favorite, maybe because I’m a girl and I’m not interested in gear. I just look at picture and decide what I need. I use a Canon Mark II for digital work and an Olympus OM2 for film with a 35mm and 50mm lens.
